Fall is one of my favorite times of the year because it's like a little mini-January. It’s back to school time. It's a fresh start for all of us. We get back to school clothes for our kids, buy new, fresh notebooks, pencils, etc. For us entrepreneurs, it's an opportunity to reset goals. It's the final quarter of the year and an opportunity to say, what we want to accomplish between now and the end of the year.
In today’s podcast, I want to give you some of my favorite tips on setting and achieving goals.
Let’s not torture ourselves by trying to hit our next goal or punish ourselves for what we didn't do over the summer. Or get upset about what we haven't accomplished so far. Instead, let’s focus on the here and now! Look at what you'd like to accomplish between now and the end of the year!
Here are four things to think about as you set goals:
- Give yourself grace.
- Have the belief that you can accomplish your results.
- Focus on those keystone habits
- Make sure that you've set realistic goals and then realistic activities that you can accomplish that lead to those goals
