On February 16, 2024, many people pursuing fertility treatment options received the most devastating news. This was the day that the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that stored embryos are granted the same legal protection as children under Alabama’s Wrongful Death of a Minor Act. This ruling caused so much heartache and devastation for so many couples pursuing fertility treatments. Although this ruling took place in Alabama, the reality is that it can impact other states. I don’t want anyone in our tribe to face this type of heartache or frustration, so in today’s episode, I’m sharing about IVF abroad as an alternative to fertility treatments in the US and embryo adoption.
