We are sons and daughters of celestial royalty. We left the Kingdom of God, our former home, because we wanted a physical body after the likeness of God and in the form and shape of our spirits, which are also made in the image of God. We wanted to live under temporal laws that we may have freedom. We wanted to live under spiritual laws that we may have agency. We agreed to the veil because we wanted the freedom to make our own choices, to define our own destiny, and to chart our own course. But it came at an extremely high price.
