On this episode, Ash and I sit down to discuss the most common mistakes associated with calorie deficits (i.e. diets).

Just because you want to lose weight or change your body composition doesn't mean that you should move into a deficit. Questions to ask yourself include:

  • Do you have a lot going on in your life right now?
  • Do you feel stressed, anxious, and burned out?
  • Do you struggle to get enough sleep?
  • Do you struggle to consistently exercise?
  • Do you feel like you’ve been dieting for years?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are not ready to diet.
