That is the reason why we created cyber crime junkies. More importantly we have been able to continue our ability to speak with some of the worlds most celebrated in infamous hackers, security researchers, chief information security officer and leaders in federal, state and local law-enforcement on this topic.
But why? Why should you care and why should we?
When we dig down deep into it we realize that it’s not about technology and it’s not about hackers, crime or security at all. It’s about human nature, societal rules and perceptions of fundamental fairness. It’s about privacy. Privacy is at the heart.
None of us ever intended that our private confidential ideas, pain, psychology, emotional well being would ever be used in a way that could cause harm to us individually, our families or the organizations brands that we serve.

But other organizations are in the news for reputation damaging data breach.

Hackers are engineers and people that figure out how things work. Without them we wouldn’t have some of the greatest inventions and protections that we all take for granted every day.
