For this month's clinical corner- Matt covers an article summarizing the best practices in hamstring injury exercises. The article explains that stretching before physical activity does not always mean injury prevention. Have you ever heard of the Nordic Hamstring exercise? See photos of the demonstration in article at the link below. Performing this exercise a couple times a week was found to increase strength and avoid a hamstring injuries in the future.
