Exercise does not guarantee weight loss but most gyms promise their clients weight loss. I think the gym is more like the classroom where people go to learn how to do simple exercises using their body weight or the machines that are found there. So that they can exercise with their body or with the tools and machines wherever they find themselves. In the gym we are supposed to set performance goals. You must focus on goals such as learning to properly do push ups sit ups squats planks lunges and so on with proper form and without the risk of injury.. so that we can achieve the consistency we need to achieve our health goals. Health goals such as improved cardiovascular fitness improved body composition improved flexibility reduced heart rate reduced total body fat muscle strength bone strength muscle power better blood profile and so on and so forth...
