Contra Costa Cares Cast is a storytelling series about the residents in Contra Costa County who have been able to access health services thanks to the Contra Costa Cares Program. Contra Costa Cares, created in 2016, is a program that provides access to basic medical services for anyone who lives in our county, regardless of age, condition, or immigration status. Each episode will feature a new story from someone using the Cares program, or who has been impacted by it. The series is a way for the broader community to learn about what Cares is, and why it matters. Healthy Richmond is part of the California Endowment's "Building Healthy Communities" initiative, and is a collaborative here in Contra Costa County of service providers, advocates, and resident leaders who want to create lasting health equity, for all.
