Credibility is one of the foundational principles of leadership. It is when others have confidence in you. When they see you as credible, they trust your leadership.
Your credibility is your working reputation. It is what others think of you and credibility has to be earned. You earn credibility by who you are, the habits that reflect your value system, and how you make others feel.
