Richard Liao left a job on Wall Street to take over his family’s business, deftly revitalising century-old glassware manufacturer Hwa Hsia Glass into a modern lifestyle glassware brand. Under Richard’s stewardship, Hwa Hsia has also increased the efficiency of its production with the adoption of automation, and achieved annual revenue of US$17 million.
