May 23rd: 2014 Isla Vista Killings(2014) A motive, while interesting to learn, can sometimes be filled with misplaced blame that, in the aftermath of tragedy, does more to upset and confuse the public. On May 23rd 2014 a young man who spent years raising red flags committed a mass killing that saw 6 bodies in his wake. A mass killing that, after reading and hearing his manifesto, left much of the world confused, hurt, and angry in his absence.
