After recently watching a 25th anniversary theatrical screening of The Mummy (a movie I already loved), I haven't been able to shut up about it (just ask my wife). I think it's time we had a little talk about what made this movie work so well in 1999 and why it not only holds up 25 years later, but is actually a better constructed story than most modern movies releasing in 2024!
