With the rapid expansion of effective treatments, oncology nurses have more opportunities than ever before to provide support and guidance that favorably influences outcomes for their patients with advanced kidney cancer. However, research has shown that many patients are not receiving individualized, evidence-based, and guideline-concordant treatment and those patients who are receiving new therapies are not receiving appropriate nurse-led care.
