Dr. Matthew Hodler from the University of Rhode Island joins us to discuss the article ‘Converging Interests, Unequal Benefits? Tribal Critical Race Theory and Miami University’s Myaamia Heritage Logo’ published with Callie Batts Maddox. We discuss how the institutional racism and possessive investment of whiteness have been ignored and unaddressed. To do so we talk about the Heritage Logo of the RedHawks through Critical Race Theory.
