God designed the local church to be the pillar and foundation of Truth, so that all people might hear and recieve the Gospel. As Paul finishes his letter, he reinforces some of the key ideas that will keep Timothy and the whole church fit for God's purpose. He ends with a final command, a final encouragement and a final application.
