In this episode I explore the differences between an empath and a dark empath, and then between a dark empath and a sociopath. We'll talk about the psychological term "Dark Triad," and the implications of that. Finally, I'll try to make sense of it all, from the different schools of thought for and against the term "dark empath," and to figure out what and who we really are, in a world where sometimes we're maybe just a little bit more nuanced, just a little more complex, and just a little too sophisticated to simply be entirely one thing or the other. In complex times it may just require that we're a little bit of everything, depending on the world's demands, our own personal needs and selfcare, and the complexity of the situation in these highly sophisticated times.
