Join your host, Carl Amari, for this episode of The Film Detective Podcast! This time we're bringing back a long-running classic, Suspense! Brian Donlevy stars as a blind detective in "Out of Control" (3/28/1946).

Originally conceived as a radio epic for the great Alfred Hitchcock to direct, Suspense was one the most thrilling radio dramas from the Golden Age of Radio. The biggest stars in Hollywood flocked to the program, which ran for almost 20 years and produced nearly 1,000 original radio broadcasts. Though the show eventually made its way to television, the original radio drama remained the star, the medium perfectly suited to showcase the theater of thrills!

This Suspense episode, directed by William Spier, is "Out of Control," which originally aired on 3/28/1946 and was presented by Roma Wines.
