I've been asked quite a lot recently why we're seeing all these aircraft tire blow out incidents on commercial flights and whether re-treaded or 're-capped' aircraft tires are really safe. I'll answer these questions and put your mind at ease while an additional bonus, you get to hear my not so great COVID voice (yes I still have the effects of that nasty COVID crap) so I am using another microphone, the Shure MV7X to mask some of the unpleasantries of my still crappy voice.
