In this episode, I talk about the interconnection of brain and gut health and how taking care of gut health can heal your anxiety. The gut-brain connection is one of the connections that fascinates me the most. When I learned about this connection, I started to identify gut-brain connection issues in those around me. It became clear to me that many of the individuals who sought therapy for anxiety, or depression also had corresponding gut issues.

Everyone’s body is different, and therefore no one diet is suitable for everyone. The best way to attain optimum gut health is to switch to a low-inflammatory diet. What you eat, and when you eat it can play a HUGE role in your anxiety symptoms. If you eat foods that promote inflammation- you are going to experience more anxiety. Tune in to learn more.
