Here is the 2nd of 3 episodes from my Soulful Storytelling night on the 8th July 2019 in Cardiff. We had 3 storytellers all sharing what it means to be human. With interesting stories about how creativity has helped the become more themselves, exploring men’s mental health and how we can celebrate the good, the bad and the ugly emotions in life.
In this Episode designer and photographer Alex Lloyd Jenkins shares his interesting career journey where he has designed album covers for The Prodidgy and The Streets. Alex is an advocate for men’s mental health and talks openly and honestly about his own depression, how creativity helps and hinders and the things that have helped him along the way. As we know that suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK, it’s so refreshing to hear a man speaking about these issues in such a relatable way.
