The murder of George Floyd + A way forward against racial inequality
Manage episode 270713592 series 2782873
This week, as we all look on, horrified, at police brutality in the US, we discuss racial inequalities in the UK, in the Labour Party and in all aspects of our lives. What, if anything, can we do about it politically and policy-wise? Joining the podcast are Lewis Iwu, CEO and co-founder of Prospect Union; Leon Alleyne-McLaughlin, Young Fabians secretary and co-founder of the YF BAME advocacy group; and Redha Rubaie and Mark McVitie, podcast regulars. Moderating is producer Carolina Saludes.
To all our female listeners: we want you in our podcast, so if you’re passionate about a topic just get in touch with us at podcast@youngfabians.org.uk. We want to hear from you.
