Stress and burnout can be better managed applying emotional intelligence skills.
You need to first identify your stressors (the things that cause you to feel stressed).
Recognise how to notice the signs of stress - physical, behavioural, emotional and cognitive symptoms.
Name your emotions or feelings - translate your emotions into language
Connect your emotions to their source.
Objectively consider how to address or manage the stressors.
Take action towards managing the stressors where possible or choose a better response to the stressors.
