Fred and Arnie continue their discussion of what the Bible says about the Lord's Supper by noting the examples of New Testament disciples observing it. We begin in Acts chapter 2 on Pentecost, showing that Pentecost actually occurred on the first day of the week. We explain why that is so and note the passages that refer to the observance of the Lord's Supper. Acts chapter 20 is the next written occurrence and includes the specific day of observance. We include a discussion of the significance of the event where Paul raised an individual up from being dead. We return to the Corinthian letter where Paul again corrects the disciples there for their abuse of the Lord's Supper memorial. We complete this episode by examining Jesus' Bread of Life sermon in John chapter 6 in order to show that this sermon is not about the Lord's Supper, as many seem to think.
