Comedian Josh Pugh shares his most memorable matches
Manage episode 407436975 series 3560205
Host Carl Jones is joined by comedian, Edinburgh Award nominee and literal international footballer Josh Pugh for a trip down memory lane and the matches he'd take with him to a deserted island.
We discuss his key role in the recent success of England's partially-sighted Futsal team, the woes of being a neutral and not being emotionally invested in a club team as well as his time coaching grassroots football and the excruciatingly accurate Twitter account he set up as a result.
Among his favourite games, there's an international semi-final he played in, a moment of redemption at Old Trafford for an England hero and a sensational debut in the Champions League. There's also a compelling argument for why Manchester United can never play Wolverhampton Wanderers at football again, and what the alternative solution for that particular fixture headache might be.
We also select the Premier League's greatest ever Bermudan and Josh selects a pretty unbeatable looking all-time Premier League XI.
