Ladies - it's time to be Super smart!
Manage episode 281411294 series 2848734
Welcome back to the Savvy Mumma podcast, starting a money conversation relevant for Mums who are busy juggling life, careers and households.
There are some frightening statistics floating around about the health of our super – did you know that on average women retire with almost half the superannuation balance of men?
It’s staggering but doesn’t take long to realise why. We get paid less, it's common that we are out the workforce to play a parenting or caregiving role and many of us work part-time. We are simply not participating in the compulsory super environment at the same rate as men, so we are missing out!
Pauline Taylor joins me for this very important conversation and shares her insights, wisdom and tips for closing the gap. Pauline is one of the most passionate advocates for women’s financial literacy and wants women to see that being ‘super smart’ is their pathway to financial freedom.
