Bio:

Leandro Barsotti is the founder and director of G.R.E.S. Estação Primeira de Lanús, which was founded in 2008. He is also the coordinator and director of the Rhythm Oficinas (workshops) of Estação Primeira de Lanús which trains students to be ritmistas of the samba school.

He is also a percussionist with the samba group, Grupo Malandragem and of the Roda de Samba Bom Ambiente. This group has been together for approximately 20 years and has the honor of playing in many of Rio’s hot samba spots.

He was admitted in 2017 to FOBA training in percussion in EMPA(Escuela de musica popular de Avellaneda. He is also a teacher of the “Escuela Municipal del Carnaval” of the city 25 de Mayo; growing a Samba project where ritimistas and directors are trained from throughout the country at the provincial and national level.
