Using genetic genealogy and familial DNA, Colorado police were able to solve four cold-case murders linked to a single killer. Dolores Barajas, Antoinette Parks, Gwendolyn Harris, and Madeleine Furey-Livaudais were the victims of Joe Ervin. Joe Ervin was in prison for the murder of a Colorado police officer, Debra Sue Corr, and died by suicide in 1981 before being brought to justice for his other murders.
