A very unfortunate case of a person with Autism who never stood a chance who made some horrific and unforgivable decisions. Would this have happened with love, care and support? We'll never know. That said, this video isn't about that, it is about how with a more public eye now in play with UK courts now allowing cameras to film final stages of criminal proceedings, what this case has done is highlight just how badly Autism can and was represented. It made me angry, offers a highly false and detrimental view of Autism, and if there was ever a sign that the way Autism is defined needs to change, for me this is it.
