Hosna Jalil is the first female to hold the position of Deputy Minister of the Interior in the history of Afghanistan. She also served as Deputy Minister of Women's Affairs.
Today, Hosna lives in exile in the United States. We discussed the Taliban's horrific assault on women and girls and the outlook for change in Afghanistan.
