Manage episode 416249882 series 3541973
Today we are honoring a fan request from Dan Watt and reviewing his film festival-selected, Emmy-award winning documentary, “Everybody Dance.” Steaming currently on Freevee and Tubi, “Everybody Dance” follows the 4-month journey of recital preparation for a very unique ballet studio in Agora Hills, CA. Ballet for All Kids is a nonprofit organization run Bonnie Schlachte aimed at supporting neurotypical, neurodivergent, and differently-abled children as they collaboratively learn discipline and dance techniques under the Schlachte method (pioneered by the founding director of BFAK). With patience and pathos, “Everybody Dance” introduces viewers to the teachers and students of the studio as they prepare for the annual BFAK recital and highlight the importance of making arts accessible to every kid. Fans of heartwarming documentaries and the triumph of the human spirit will be edified and entertained by this 90-minute window into BFAK’s inclusive world of dance.
