4:20 pm The Margaritaville Resort at Lake Conroe has gone through a major upgrade and offers great venues for parties and weddings large and small. What is not widely known is that they offer fantastic Indian food prepared by qualified Chefs and the resort has received the coveted Maharani certification. Director of Catering Desiree Tapping and Catering Sales Manager Caitlin Bracewell both call in today to explain more of what the resort can provide for South Asian clients.

4:50 pm General elections are currently being held in India over the next three weeks, with four weeks of voting gone by. It brings out the largest such turnout of voters in the world, over 900 million people across 27 states. It is both a logistics challenge as well as a civics lesson in hearing the voices of people in distant regions. In our 6 week series on the elections, we are joined today again by India political analysts Kapil Sharma and Vishnu Pandey, to learn more about the election process.

5:20 pm Congressman Shri Thanedar is a symbol of resilience and the American Dream and has emerged as a beacon of hope and progress for the 13th Congressional District of Michigan. In 2018, he ran for Governor, he was elected to the Michigan State House in 2020, and elected to Congress in 2022. He passed two bills in his first 15 months, and founded the first-ever Hindu caucus, amplifying diverse voices in Congress. He is seeking re-election and while visiting Houston this weekend, broke away to call into the show.
