We all know that we need to get enough sleep - yet sleep is the first thing we're willing to sacrifice in order to do more of the stuff we love!

Sleep is linked to a whole range of mental and physical health benefits, so why is it that we can ditch it so easily? And why do we actually need to prioritise getting adequate sleep every night?

Dr Moira Junge is a health psychologist and the CEO of the Sleep Health Foundation, as well as serving on the Healthylife Advisory Board.
