In today’s show, we discuss a topic related to coaching and the important lessons we can learn from our children. Mr. John Strong. Mr. Strong is an Associate Professor within the Health and Physical Education department at Niagara County Community College, where he also serves as the coordinator of the Physical Education Studies degree program and Personal Training certificate program.
We are also excited to have John’s better half join us today…Ms. Kelly Strong. Born Kelly Terese Schrantz, and still known throughout much of the Western New York volleyball world that way, Kelly Strong is currently an Elementary PE teacher at Lindbergh Elementary in Kenmore, NY.
Our third guest is Ms. Jana Reidy who attended Canisius College where she majored in physical education and played soccer for the Griffs. She has taught PE at Elmira Free Academy and CCC for more than 5 years. She then worked at Glove House as a Program Manager. Jana was then Dean of Students at Addison MS/HS for 6 years and now the current Assistant Principal of CTE & Alt Ed at GST BOCES, Coopers Education Center.
Our final panelist is the one and only Dr. Greg Reeds joining us on today’s show. Dr. Reeds is an Emeritus Professor from Canisius College who has a wealth of knowledge in Motor Learning and Sports Psychology.
