In 1985, the Fares family acquired the Marabraz brand, replacing the name of the Credi-Fares Stores to Marabraz Stores and inaugurating the first Distribution Center in São Paulo. Born from the entrepreneurship of Lebanese immigrant Abdul Fares, Marabraz brings in essence the desire to make dreams come true, through the ease of credit with high quality products and lower price.
During the 1990s, the brand innovates in retail, being the first store to showcase its products in decorated environments, specially designed to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
