[4:03] - Today's topic, somatic work, and embodiment, explores being fully present in your body. [6:55] - Anxiety is essentially trapped energy seeking release. [8:46] - How do you know if you're operating from a place of disconnection, not in your body? [10:03] - The first sign that you're disconnected from your body that Jill discusses is not noticing hunger, thirst, or other bodily needs. [10:46] - Difficulty being present manifests as struggling to fully engage in moments or conversations. [11:35] - Learn about the third sign: dissociation. [13:20] - Feeling emotionally numb, unsure of purpose, and disconnected from intuition signals a need for grounding in the body. [15:21] - Hear how Jill, via trauma training, learned to connect with her body's sensations, transforming discomfort into understanding and healing. [17:21] - Consistently seeking external validation and happiness shows a disconnection from internal self-worth and fulfillment.
