Today I'm excited to bring to you a conversation with the lovely Sara Nisha Adams, a debut author who has just released her first book 'The Reading List' a beautiful story about an elderly Gujarati widower who discovers reading in an attempt to feel closer to his late wife who loved books, who meets and becomes friends with a young lady who works at his local library and gives him a list of books to read.
Sara grew up to English and Gujarati parents, and having experienced living in Hertfordshire as well as Wembley in all their glory, shares with us what it was like for her growing up with these two different cultural influences, and also candidly shares her journey writing and publishing this beautiful book which is so greatly inspired by her own personal life, whilst in a pandemic. She also gives us an insight into how she overcame her self doubt every single day whilst writing. How often do you get to read a book and then share your thoughts with the writer themselves?
