This week we're joined by Clarke who is preparing for a bike ride (The Way Of The Roses) from the west coast of England to the east coast of England to raise funds for the baby beat appeal for a new bereavement suite at Preston Royal hospital.
Clarke and his wife tragically lost their son Louis in 2006 and the staff at Preston Royal hospital were fantastic to them both which is the main reason behind the sponsored bike ride to help the baby beat appeal to raise the funds needed for the new bereavement suite so that couples in the future who experience what Clarke and his wife experienced can do so in comfort.
Although this podcast has a very serious story, Clarke and I had a great laugh talking about topics such as Ikea, training for the journey, tales of times gone by in Preston and the infamous "binners ring" so if you're wanting a laugh then make sure to give this podcast a watch/listen!
