WHAT YOU BELIEVE ABOUT
THREE MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT HEAVEN
1. HEAVEN WILL BE BORING.
Heaven is the opposite of boredom.
It’s the absence of evil and the presence of God!
Heaven will be a place of unimaginable beauty.
In heaven, you will see Jesus face to face.
In Heaven, you will have new and perfect bodies.
Heaven is the absence of everything bad, painful, and evil.
It’s the presence of everything good, holy and glorious.
2. THAT THIS WORLD IS OUR HOME
Our life here is but a mist, a vapor.
3. MOST PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HEAVEN.
Good people don’t go to Heaven, forgiven people go to Heaven.
Goals for this series:
1. Relieve Fear – you don’t have to fear death.
2. Increase Urgency – give yourself to the work of the Lord.
