This week we discuss different light cycles and evaluate a paper which studied differences across 3 strains under 14 hours on 10 off light cycle, common 12 on 12 off cycle, and 10 on 14 off cycle. They did all 3 conditions full cycle, and also started for 28 days under 1 condition then finished rest of flower under another condition such as 14 on 10 off first 28 days then drop to 12 and 12 or 10 on 14 off for end of flower, they even tried reversing this and increasing light hours after 28 days from 10 on to 12 or 14 for final weeks. we discuss this paper as well as many of the implications of the research, and potential drawbacks and critiques of the experimental design and implementation. we take a few questions from chat related to the topic and also the panel asks a few questions of our own we explore.
