Rashomon
Manage episode 312043803 series 3217993
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. A bandit, a samurai, and his bride walk into a grove and…. Oh wait, you have? How does it go? The bride falls in love with the bandit? But I thought she was traumatized and begged for her husband’s forgiveness. Wait, who’s the woodcutter in all this? And why is there a medium in court giving viable testimony? That’s right, our inaugural episode is on Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon! Have a hard time remembering things? Well strap in, ‘cause you have no idea (and neither do we).
