Bob stumbled upon McKinnon Galloway through social media, where she teaches basic sign language. As a teenager, she was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a rare and incurable genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, leading to her deafness.
