Everyday Ordinary Extraordinary Women

Meet Jaclyn Tanner.
Jaclyn “Jackie” Tanner holds a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology with minors in Management and Communications from Keene State College, as well as a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over 10 years of experience in the therapy field, Jackie has worked with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, addressing challenges related to substance use and mental health. She has completed formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and holds a post-graduate certificate in Psychoanalysis.
Jackie is deeply passionate about supporting fellow moms navigating the perinatal period, drawing on her own personal and professional experiences. She is a proud stepmother to an 18-year-old college freshman and mom to two young sons, ages 3 and 5.
In her free time, Jackie enjoys being outdoors, tackling DIY home renovation projects, and unwinding with true crime documentaries. At Evolving Tree Therapy, Jackie oversees the clinical team, coordinates client intakes, and manages marketing and social media efforts, all while bringing her dedication and expertise to the practice’s mission of empowering parents and strengthening families.
Evolving Tree Therapy, like all great things, grew over time, co-founded Jackie Tanner and Sarah Osborne.
The name Evolving Tree Therapy emerged as they brainstormed. Mothers are the “tree of life” for their families, and by strengthening moms—the core—everyone benefits. Healthier moms mean healthier children, healthier partnerships, and healthier communities. They imagined a practice not just for therapy but also as a hub for community, humor, and reprieve—a space where moms and non-birthing partners could find balance and connection.
Today, Evolving Tree Therapy offers services that include individual counseling for moms, couples counseling, and support for non-birthing partners. What started as an idea has blossomed into a thriving practice with a mission to empower parents during the most challenging phases of life. And this is just the beginning.

What would a world look like where we can be inspired by every person?
Usually we are very quick to compare and judge ourselves and others, and when we do that everybody is losing. Depending on my point of view, I can either feel small because I come out lacking; or arrogant and dismissive because I feel superior. Those are the only 2 options. And neither of those options make us feel good
Here is our thought: Someone's everyday normal is someone else's extraordinary. Judgment comes from first impressions. We invite you, the listener, to go beyond first impressions, and see the magic everywhere.
There is inspiration at every corner - in everyone, if we are willing to look.
