He is recognized for his significant contributions to the film industry, particularly in Southeast Asia, and has earned the title of “Hollywood’s man in Southeast Asia” for his work on notable projects such as "City of Ghosts," "A Prayer Before Dawn," "Kong: Skull Island," and "Avengers: Infinity War."

- First Production Company: He founded Sud-Est Productions in Vietnam in 1994, servicing and co-producing several films, including Matt Dillon’s "City of Ghosts."
- Indochina Productions: In 2010, Simon founded Indochina Productions in Bangkok, Thailand. The company provides production services across Southeast Asia and has worked on major Hollywood films.
