Ayesha shares with us what it was like growing up in the hood of Philadelphia and dreaming of wealth. From a very young age Ayesha decided that she wanted to be wealthy and took on the pursuit of understanding and building a relationship with money to get to her ultimate goal and that was to become financially free. While attaining her Economics and Marketing Degree from Temple University she was introduced to the financial services industry—via banking. Now a private wealth advisor with a Fortune 500 company that is among the top 25 largest asset managers in the world. Ayesha has also held various roles within her organization over the years, including financial advisor, district manager and the first female African-American Field Vice President in the firm’s history. Her passion is disciplined investing. In addition to investments in equities, she primarily invests in real estate throughout the city of Philadelphia and the suburbs. Following the financial crisis of 2008 added more than 40 doors to her real estate portfolio. Her goal is to teach our youth how to become financially free through financial literacy.
