Are you relying on a long, running list in your head to get through your days? Is it true that you, and only you, know what needs to get done and how to do it?
It sounds like you’re winging it. Now of course, we all do this in our businesses from time to time, but let me tell you how much lighter you’d feel if you got it all down on paper!
At first glance, winging it seems easier than systematizing our business, but I promise you it’s draining your mental energy every day. You’re perhaps a bit afraid something will slip through the cracks. You might feel a little bit of negativity about it in your head. You may be a bit haphazard in your communication, and you change things on the fly a lot. Am I right?
Here’s my advice:
Practically speaking: write down the way you do things so you can see the flow on paper.
And perhaps more importantly map out how your conversion works: how does someone go from not knowing you, to being a raving fan client who refers all their friends to you?
