We ask her about what makes someone stand out in a technical interview, now that she’s a hiring manager. We discuss differences in working in tech at a big corp vs a small startup and how that can impact progression.
We ask her what it’s like becoming a tech lead in 2 years and why she chose the management route over individual contributor. She also shares her advice on how to negotiate for an internal promotion when general advice is to leave for a pay rise.
