हर व्यक्ति चाहता है कि वह ईश्वर से एक घनिष्ठ सम्बन्ध स्थापित कर दे। लेकिन हम अधिक्तर ईश्वर से नहीं बल्कि अपने से प्रार्थना में बात करते हैं। इसके कारण, हम वास्तव में ईश्वर का अनुभव नहीं कर पाते हैं। संत इग्नेशियस द्वारा स्थापित इस साधना के सहारे 50 दिनों की साधना कर हम ईश्वर के लिए अपने हृदय को खोल देंगे। इसके फल-स्वरुप, हम ईश्वर से एक घनिष्ठ सम्बन्ध स्थापित करने में सक्षम होंगे।
