For most of my life, people that I’ve known for long and short periods of time have assumed that they know me better than they really do. There was a time when their incorrect assumptions caused me to audition for them in order to change their minds about the who I am and all that I am. I’ve evolved past the performance desires and settled into a comfortable and confident place of self-awareness and acceptance and if some don’t get me or understand me, that’s their issue…not mine.
