Full ep on YouTube: https://youtu.be/varjW1p2AC0 | This week, William Wu, a recent graduate of the Capilano University Motion Picture of Arts program shares with us his experience as a Director of his final project short film, "Go For Broke", a story about a Japanese American fighter pilot for the US Army Air Force that enlists to fight in Europe. The short film recently completed an Indiegogo campaign where the production raised over $2,500 to fund an international short film festival campaign that has already included winning Best Short Film at the New York International Film Festival for the month of May. We discuss the challenges of directing a short film with such an ambitious scale on a student budget and the lessons learned from William's experience directing.
