The “pursuit of happiness” is one of the most famous phrases in American history, and when America’s founders wrote it in the Declaration of Independence, they intended it to mean happiness through lifelong learning and self-improvement. To start our series, Jeffrey Rosen and scholar Robert P. George , the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University, trace how the meaning of pursuit of happiness has changed. Then, American filmmaker Ken Burns shares how — even as he has spent his “entire life trying to figure out the United States” — daily self-reflection has given him new perspectives on what the founders faced 250 years ago. HERNAN MALDONADO inicia su interés y pasión por la música en el año 2007. Cabe mencionar que se ha convertido en uno de los pioneros en la escena House Mexicana. Hernán Maldonado se ha convertido en uno de los Djs Favoritos de su ciudad natal, Monterrey N.L México por su gran gusto de selección de ritmos y variedad de música. En el año 2008 consigue su primer residencia en Parking Club comenzando su carrera profesional como Dj. Hernán Maldonado ha tenido la oportunidad d0ⁿoe compartir cabina con Djs como: Isaac Escalante, Alex Acosta, Edgar Velázquez, Oscar Velázquez, José Spinnin Cortes, Miguel Alanís, Karim cato, Edgar Cebreros, entre otros… Asi mismo ha compartido cabina con Djs Internacionales como Allan Natal, Will Beats y William Umana, Mauro Mozart, Edson Pride, Juseph Leon, entre otros. En el Año 2009 Hernan Maldonado consigue su residencia en otro club de la ciudad llamado Kasting. En el año 2010 es llamado para tocar en Bizu Disco y Baby Shower Club, y Rouge Club convirtiéndose en el DJ con mas residencias en la ciudad. Hernan Maldonado ha tenido oportunidad de tocar en lugares alrededor de la república mexicana Como: Babel Club (Guadalajara) NATION Club (León Gto) BY Club (León Gto) Albatros Dance (Cd Juárez Chihuahua) G-LIFE (Cd Juárez Chihuahua) entre otros. En el año 2013 es llamado a formar parte del Festival Internacional PARADISO, compartiendo escenario con los mejores Djs Nacionales e Internacionales.En el año 2015 es llamado para formar parte de club Missa siendo así el residente principal del club y encargado del área electrónica de este lugar tan internacionalmente conocido. Este joven Dj se va abriendo camino como DJ a nivel nacional e internacional por su talento y trato con el público, Sin duda alguna Hernán Maldonado es uno de los DJs en la escena House Mexicana con mucha proyección. influencias: Futuristic polar bears, Taito Tikaro, Ivan Gómez, Alex Acosta, Nacho Chapado, The Cube Guys, Roberto Sansixto, Dj Suri, Albert Neve, Peter Rauhofer, Chus & Ceballos, Carlos Gallardo,Hector Fonseca, Tannuri, T. Tommy, Juanjo Martin, Mauro Mozart, David Penn, Abel Ramos, Danny Verde, entre otros.
